Engr. Md. Golam Sarwar MBA IEng MIMarEST PGD – a UK certified Marine Chief Engineer, a Canadian MBA holder, and with a Post Graduate Degree in Maritime Law from London Metropolitan University established Prantik Marine Services Ltd. in 1998, now the parent company of Prantik Group.
He is a salvor, an underwater diver and an independent & special casualty response surveyor. He has publication on salvage in Technical Journal of IMarEST (The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology). He has presented 3 technical papers in IMarEST seminars on Salvage and Technology. He is a very active member of IMarEST and at present holding Hon. Secretary post of Bangladesh branch and a Member of Council of IMarEST Head Quarter , London.
A dreamer and confident personality with ethical business practice enabled him to introduce various maritime, & industrial services ( such as tackling marine accidents, underwater survey/works, water weights load testing, pressure testing of pressure vessels etc.) in Bangladesh market. He has gone into Ship Building business very recently. He has brought new dimensions in few maritime / industrial services in local market. PRANTIK has become a brand name for these services in Bangladesh.
